Casa Mariol “Vermut Negre” Sweet Vermouth

Introduction

This vermouth is produced from 100% Macabeu grapes which are fermented in stainless steel at a low temperature to preserve freshness of flavour and provide a super vibrant fruit profile! At the same time a neutral grape spirit, also made from Macabeu grapes, is macerated with over 160 different botanicals. The botanicals include green walnuts, thyme, rosemary, orange peel, cardamom and wormwood to name a few. The rest, in true vermouth fashion, are a well-kept secret. After all of this the blend will then spend six months ageing in a solera system.

Traditionally this vermut should be in the afternoon on the rocks with a splash of seltzer, an orange slice, and an olive!
