The Glendronach distillery’s core range underwent a shiny redesign in 2024, and here we have its smart new-look 18 Year Old single malt. The Highlander was matured completely in oloroso sherry casks from Andaluca in Spain and boasts an exceptionally rich and fruity sherried profile.

Tasting Note

aroma

Deep aromatics of fudge and dark muscovado sugar. Fruit compote and morello cherries provide added layers of complexity.

palate

Rich, dark and seductive. Remarkable flavours of stewed fruits and allspice marry together with classical aged Oloroso and toasted walnut bread and chocolate orange.
